The woman in labour
The end of the 11th chapter of the Revelation gives us the image of God's Ark of the Covenant in heaven heaven itself. This is followed, in Chapter 12, by strange visions of a pregnant woman. She has a crown of 12 stars, is robed with the sun and has the moon beneath her feet. Who is she and what does she represent? What is the connection, if any, with the Ark?
