Apocalypse seals 5 and 6
The Lamb now opens the fifth seal. Revealed are the souls of martyrs, who wait patiently below the altar. They are given 'white robes'. What these are is revealed. After this, as the sixth seal is opened the sun is darkened and the moon turned to blood. There are earthquakes and the heavens are 'rolled up like a scroll'. None of this can be explained by our contemporary astrophysics and so it is often assumed that these events are imaginary. However what if our understanding of astrophysics is false? What if our sun is not a blazing furnace of atomic fusion reactions but is more like an electric arc-welder's torch? Suddenly all becomes clear and we discover that these prophecies could indeed become true.
