The 144,000
In chapter of the revelation, after the four horsemen, we are told of the 144,000 of the tribes of Israel. Because they are servants of God, they are to be marked and given special privileges to enter the New Jerusalem of the Lamb first. In this video we examine what is meant by the tribes of Israel and how this relates to the 144,000. However they are not the only ones to be welcomed in to what is clearly heaven or some heavenly region. They are followed by a multitude of the faithful. This effectively ends the peaceful introduction to the Apocalypse. From the next chapter onwards we are going to be confronted by the conflict with evil. It will not be till towards then end that we again encounter the tribes of Israel and the New Jerusalem that is to be the heavenly home of the elect.
