Babylon or Jerusalem: Brexit and the EU
Brexit, or Britain exiting the European Union, is the most significant, political event this decade. The debate concerning a trade 'deal' has been acrimonious with neither side willing to give an inch. Why is this? Could it be that there something more at stake than negotiations on trade? In this video we examine Brexit from an entirely different perspective: that of symbolism. Even a cursory investigation reveals that the real purpose of the EU is to establish a restored Roman Empire. Meanwhile there is a deep tradition that links Britain to a restored Israel and the prophecies for a New Jerusalem. These ideas are truly incompatible. By examining the mythos of Britain and comparing it with that of the EU, it becomes obvious that Brexit was inevitable.
