The truth about the Western Way
Back in the 1960s, the Beatles introduced the world to the Maharishi and his transcendental meditation. Suddenly, Eastern mysticism became all the rage. The churches in the west emptied as more and more people, those who weren't completely taken over by materialism, turned eastwards for spirituality. But was this truly a correct response? Is there not a Western Way of self-development and if there is, what is it? In this no-holds-barred lecture, Adrian presents an overview of what Western mysticism, which really means the Christian, esoteric tradition, is all about. This is a broad overview and it will shock many people. For in truth, the real purpose of Christianity is not at all how it is portrayed in churches and on the media.
